2018 IKM Product Held at Jakarta City Hall

There are 64 IKMs participated

Jakarta Industry and Energy Dept. is holding the 2018 IKM Product at Jakarta City Hall, Jalan Medan Merdeka Selatan, Gambir, Central Jakarta.

It will be ongoing from today up to August 30 and takes theme "Increasing Competitiveness of IKM and Creative Industry in the Context of Growing New Industrial Entrepreneurs"

UKM-IKM Products must Be Marketed During Asian Games

Jakarta Industry and Energy Dept. Head, Yuli Hartono disclosed that the event is held to promote and facilitate the IKM products. It becomes concrete steps to enhance people's economy, entrepreneurship, job creation, and love for the local product.

"There are 64 IKMs participated. They are from Industry and Energy Dept., Kadin, Dekranasda, and OK OCE Movement Group," he expressed, Tuesday (8/28).

Through this event, it is hoped that it could increase the revenue of IKM actors and expand the marketing network.

"They can feel the atmosphere of the market and marketing. And can also conduct trials to execute the concept of creative ideas and expand jobs in their respective regions," he explained.

Jakarta Industry and Energy Dept.'s Industry Section Head, Elisabeth Ratu Rante Allo expressed that 30 participants produce food and beverage products and 34 others are engaged in fashion and crafts.

"This is a forum for IKMs to introduce their products. In the future the event will be expanded and more intensive," he uttered.
